The
Island of Arran is situated on the south west coast of Scotland
In a tranquil setting on the edge of an exceptionally pretty village Blackrock Holiday Homes enjoy total privacy and marvellous sea views. Each is front-facing and recently refurbished. The close proximity to mountains ensures Blackrock Holiday Homes enjoys regular visits to its gardens by deer, red squirrels and other moorland creatures. Exquisite wild flowers may be found here, and on its shores it is not unusual to see otters play.
From November to April short breaks are available.

A
very accessible location, which may be approached from Glasgow by
connecting rail and ferry services.

A year-round link exists between
Ardrossan on the Ayrshire coast, and
Brodick on Arran, provided by one of Caledonian MacBrayne's
largest vessels, the Caledonian Isles. This can carry up to 120 cars
and 1000 passengers.
Additionally an all-year service is provided by the MV Loch Tarbert
between
Lochranza at the northern tip of Arran, and
Claonaig, on the Kintyre Peninsula
south of Tarbert. This carries 18 cars and 150 passengers for the 30
minute journey across the Kilbrannan Sound.
