The cottage is located in a secluded and tranquil part of Lochranza, several hundred yards from the main road and is accessed by a private track.

The cottage comprises two double bedrooms upstairs, one containing a double bed and the other containing one double and one single bed. There is also another twin-bedded room on the ground floor. There are two public rooms and the conservatory, with views over to Kintyre, is a particularly attractive feature, especially when watching for deer and other wild life.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, two refrigerators and microwave oven. There is a colour television with DVD in the main public room. Sky television is available. There is also a small colour television and DVD in the dining room.

Heating is either by way of coal fires or by the electrical central heating system combining storage heaters throughout and under-floor heating in the lounge and conservatory. Double glazing has also been installed throughout the property.

The bathroom has an electric shower cubicle.

The cottage is detached and a reasonable distance from adjoining properties. There is an uncultivated, mainly grass, garden around the cottage.
